Girls, Dorie Dillard and Nina Hollander are incredibly successful Realtors and so what you approve of, I will hang my hat on! Colored exteriors are a lot of fun-of course, the style of the house does dictate this a bit but even on a mid century home, I love a bright orange door!

Oh my goodness, what a happy place that looks to be, Joanna Cohlan! When we built 2 years ago, I shared the shingle sample with my builder and he gave me so much grief about my choice of deep green (as some of those roofs have in your photo have)! After he saw it installed with the red Hardy Plank, he loved it! I'm a big fan of happy and that is what draws a lot of buyers to some of our more 'colorful' communities!
