Serious Sellers Are Selling Before Christmas 

Over the last few weeks sellers have asked if they should wait until after Christmas to put their homes on the market. The question is are they really interested in selling?

If a seller wants to sell, now before Christmas is a good time to go on the market. The holidays still produce showings and these usually serious buyers. Besides, the homes look so good all decorated for the season and it stirs the emotions of the buyers.

Though there may not many showings you can know that the buyers are making purchasing decisions before Christmas. I tell my Clarksville sellers to go about living and don't worry. If the right buyer is out there they will find the house.

Many buyers are out driving around looking at Christmas lights. They just might get the buying bug. They may wait to look after the holiday is over because of busy schedules. The idea could get red hot by then and your home may the right one.

There may be friends of your neighbors that will be in the neighborhood during the holidays and they might like your home. I do caution to not go overboard with decorations and keep a pleasing and tasteful look.

It can happen and does happen. Homes sell before Christmas.
