What Do YOU Do To have a FEATURED Post?

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage~ Ginger Harper Real Estate Team 93383

I am stilll trying to be successful with AR and try new things a lot.

I see where some of our folks get to have a featured post.  Is th

at measured from the content of the post, or the number of hits or what?

I read them and think that they had written an exceptional post and enjoy them.

Any hints or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering.

Ginger

Hi Ginger, I believe Bill and Liz Spear posted an entire blog on this subject just in the last week or so. Everything you might want to know about how to get featured....

Can you post a link to that? I searched their posts and was unable to find it.

It's always a bonus to get a post featured.  You will find the Featured posts tend to be those geared toward helping all AR members improve their business, not consumer oriented content.

I think it is akin to popping your money into a one-armed bandit in Vegas. It is never easy and when we have been featured, it has been a great surprise.

Ginger,  I believe the answer partially resides within your question "had written an exceptional post and enjoy them."

It helps to have graphics and check for spelling and grammar as well. Great content poorly written may be missed.  The use of white space, paragraphs, good font size, all the things that are appealing to the eyes.  If it is hard to read it likely won't get read.

Hello Ginger

That is a great question and what so many AR members fail to tell you is ...

The AR network is a very clicky network on who knows who. There are many members that are what I call (teachers pets) to the AR Gods, and a AR God is someone that features their favorite group of students.

Another way of getting featured posts is to find a niche with your writing, and of course try and write about subjects that involve real estate.

I have been with the AR network for over 9 years with 5179 posts and only 22 features from the AR Gods.

The reason I have only 22 features is because Vegas Bob is (NO) teachers pet, and your post has been featured to the group:

I have read hundreds of posts at the AR network that have been featured by the Gods that are terrible
