Chippewa County Snowy Fall Day

Good morning friends, one more day to make a difference this week and then off to a busy weekend.

Woke up to a pack of pictures from Nicks Snow Day on Wednesday, a day that was changed from boundary surveying and changed to things that did not require a tree marking gun or a gps unit with clear satellite signals.

Based on the photos, it looks like he shot a few photos on the timber sale that he was checking on and then decided to make lemonade out of a lemony day and stopped for some recreation at the Ice Age Trail Visitor Center.

Enjoy the pictures, have a productive Friday and a great Weekend!

Hi Bob Crane - We have had snow as early as the beginning of December and as late as 1st week of April. But it melts quickly even if it is 8 inches in one storm.  I call it "polite" snow - It doesn't overstay it's welcome! Not too many places you see snow on cactus!Cactus Snow

Sometimes you can get the best of the snow and work right through it - but sometimes the snow gets the best of you and you just need to take a break.
