MESA COUNTY COLORADO REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE OCTOBER 2016
Transactions were UP 5.29% for OCTOBER of 2016 versus OCTOBER 2015 and the OCTOBER 2016 gross volume was UP 9.44% at $81,123,132 versus $74,125,505 for OCTOBER 2015. Overall, the total YTD volume for 2016 is UP 8.76% over 2015 at $867,738,222. The average residential sales price in OCTOBER 2016 went UP to $239,560 and the OCTOBER median price went UP to $218,000. The year to date for OCTOBER values are $236,369 for the average residential price and $205,000 for the median residential price, both very slight increases.
I’ve seen a lot of movement since the election ended last month so I suspect we will see some bigger jumps for November and December. We are currently just below the national median residential sales price which is at $232,000.
