Shari, congratulations and It'sgood to (cyber) meet you! I remember reading your articles on the meth lab and more recently, I vow never to be too busy for my family. I enjoyed them both immensely.
Colleen, superb idea! What a great way to encourage interaction among members at a deeper level while also sharing the 'getting to know them' with the group.

EVERYONE: If you like this idea and want to partake, make sure you let the author of know in the post. Each Week, the current author should take the list of authors and update it for the following week. I enjoyed starting this ball, but I am counting on each of you to carry it forward. I am not on the payroll at Active Rain, and would appreciate someone picking up the ball and being responsible for this....

Follow up note.... Luke writes about Marianna Wagner the following week's author and someone he chooses to write about, which doesn't have to be Mark... The only "rule" I have is the person you pick you don't already know and have never spoken to before this. The whole idea is to get to know a new person and take the netwroking to the next level...
Also, place the post in the person you pick's hometown. Not too bad, if you are wondering how much time it took me, well I spent about an hour on the phone with these two great people, and another hour putting together the post. Defining the structure and answering questions about it took 3-4 hours.
I think that this will run very well by members, just like the Week In Review...

Loved reading about Shari and how she never misses a dinner with her family. Love the way her 8 year old is with her sharing her day. Sounds like a wonderful relationship and this is one post all parents would benifit by reading.
Colleen -- You have come up with a great idea! With so many members on Active Rain it is difficult to get to know everyone. This also is a great way for people to connect and find out about each other. I think we have a lot of mult-talented people on AR just waiting to be introduced! Thanks.

Joan -- this is an excellent opportunity for a new member to get noticed! As everyone looks forward to reading the Spotlight, the writer is featured the week before they write. Giving them exposure too.
Mariana -- I can't wait until you do your post! You actually have some time to think about it. I posted and then had to come up with someone and write it all on Sunday because I knew this week would be busy for me.
