Joanna Cohlan almost looks like the picture that Jeff Dowler posted .Have a great day
Good morning Joanna, this is an awesome shot, I know even the pros would agree.
Good morning Beth Atalay and Hannah Williams and Michael Jacobs and Nina Hollander and Raymond E. Camp - This is near the Sahara Desert in Morocco and it was really like a mirage - I must say that Morocco is one of the most photogenic places I have ever visited because life and therefore the terrain and ecology has not changed all that much in 3000 years!

I knew you would be here to share the location and some additional information. Thank you.
Good Morning, Joanna Cohlan - I really like how this photo unfolds from the blue sky and clouds, to the snowy mountain range, into the sandy desert the same color of land and buildings, followed by green and growing integrated with sandy roads.
Would you say the people are of a homogeneous culture?

Good morning Patricia Feager and Sheila Anderson - I would say that they are not homogenous cultures-there is the bedoin culture and the merchant culture-the merchant culture being of the Moslem faith and the bedoins of a mixture of Taureg, Jewish and Arab - all Moslems are not Arabs and Morocco is not an Arab country. There are also many French, Spanish and Portuguese who lived there and impacted the cultural expressions.

Thanks for stopping by Ron and Alexandra Seigel and Jeff Dowler and James Dray - foreign travel gives us so much opportunity to see the world differently. Happy and healthy new year to all!
Thanks so much Debbie Reynolds - travel is my passion and I love to share it with friends!
Thanks for sharing your travels and your photograph.
Enjoy the holidays and be well prepared for the challenges of the new year.
Joanna, never-ending eye-openers is what you offer us, my world-traveling friend. I mentioned you today to a client looking to come back to Oregon after being away for many years (now living in AZ). I talked about how you fell in love with Oregon and spoke about the food being some of the best, too.
He's already sold on Oregon--very much wants to come back and it's just a matter of finding the right fit for him and his wife, Gail to build.
Anyway, I wanted to call today--life got in the way. Tomorrow it's on my list!! You're at the top of it!
Hi there Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 - if you call today I will be on route to the shore for the holiday so best is Monday if you can. But wishing you and Larry a wonderful new year and hope we get to see each other in 2017-either on the left or the right coasts!!!

Alright, my sister of the travelling "past"...I will make a note to call Monday! And most definitely a trip either/both coasts is in order!
Thanks for stopping by Roy Kelley and yes, we are definitely going to have challenges in the new year but wishing you and Dolores only the strength and will to forge ahead!
Joanna, that is a beautiful photo, and had to scroll down to see where it was. Breath-taking!
Joanna what an awesome photo and needless to say there are similar opportunities on a smaller scale to see in California as well, you could be looking from the Desert to the Mountains and see Snow Capped Mountains even in Los Angeles:)Endre
