Wreaths Across America have succeeded in raising enough money to place a wreath at every single grave site in Arlington National Cemetery to honor our fallen soldiers. I've posted about their need for contributions twice in the past nine days and want to say thank you to all who have read my posts and contributed $15 towards a wreath to make this possible.
245,000 wreaths will be placed on grave sites at Arlington Cemetery this coming Saturday, December 17th beginning at 7:00 am. Volunteers are still needed to help lay the wreaths for National Wreaths Across America Day. If you live nearby and want to help lay wreaths, you can go there on Saturday and volunteer your time.
Unfortunately, there are still military cemeteries around the country who have not met their quota of needed wreaths for their grave sites. You can still contribute to those. Please do so if you can. All of our fallen heroes should be remembered this holiday season.
And don't forget that Saturday, December 17th is Wreaths Across America Day... the Town of Waxhaw, NC in the Charlotte area is commemorating at noon.

The organization lays almost 250,000 wreaths at gravesites. You have until December 14th to contribute $15 towards wreaths for our fallen soldiers laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery. Please consider making a contribution to honor those who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.
For those who haven't heard about this wonderful organization, which began in 1992 with a trailer load of wreaths, decorated by volunteers and laid at the graves of fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery , its mission is to:
REMEMBER the fallen;
HONOR those who serve;
TEACH our children the value of freedom.
December 17th is Wreaths Across America Day... and you can help by sponsoring a wreath. It's only $15 to honor a fallen hero. Click on the picture below to send your contribution to sponsor a wreath. You can sponsor a wreath for Arlington Cemetary or for a local cemetary.
We are not here to "decorate graves. We're here to remember not their deaths, but their lives....
