Jessica's Top 4 "Must-Do's" This Season

1.  Cut down your own Christmas Tree.  "We cut down our own tree in the Bridgers.  That's not something everyone in the country can do!"

The Bridger Mountain Range is part of Gallatin National Forest which means you can purchase a Christmas Tree Permit for just $5.00 from the US Forest Service.  There are, of course, restrictions which should be respected.

2.   Downtown Bozeman Christmas Stroll.  "It's a Bozeman tradition!"

The annual Christmas Stroll serves as the lighting ceremony in downtown Bozeman.  It's an outstanding family event packed full of entertainment, hands-on activities, delicious food, and shopping.  If you didn't make the 2016 Christmas Stroll (held December 3rd), be sure to mark your calendar for next year's Stroll!

3.  The Giving Tree.  "We pick kids from The Giving Tree as a family and go buy gifts for them."

The Giving Tree helps youth and families who are part of the the local Wraparound outreach program.  The Montana Family Wrap Around is our local National Wraparound Initiative organization.  Wraparound's main goal is to "help individuals with complex needs (most typically children, youth, and their families) so that they can live in their homes and communities and realize their hopes and dreams."

4. 320 Ranch Sleigh Ride.  "My husband and I usually do a sleigh ride and dinner every year in early January at the 320 Ranch outside of Big Sky."

If you are unfamiliar with the 320 Ranch, you are in for a treat.  It's a 110 year old homestead turned guest ranch.  A stay here is sure to be memorable.  While they offer really cool accommodation packages, you have the option of enjoying their many seasonal activities without staying the night.  From December thru March, they offer "star-dotted" horse-pulled sleigh rides along the Gallatin River.  Check out options HERE.
