Doing a sustainable business

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty
Just watched a pretty intense documentary about corporations.  To sum up in this documentary corporations were painted as these horrible entities simply leaching off the world and not able to do anything but destroy and build profits because of heir design.  I recommend it (it's called 'Corporation').  It made me think about what we do as Realtors, lenders, etc.  We must always strive to run a sustainable business.  I mean a business that generates cash, but also helps.  Any thoughts?

I hope it's available at Blockbuster. Where did you come across it? Did you see it on TV?

I'm not anti-corporation (large cap), but on the other hand, I'm open minded. Like most of us, I am curious about the oil companies and how that industry works. Then, there is GE. I think they are so big now, they can't keep tabs on all of their subsidiaries.

My guess is that this documentary portrays big corporate workers as meaningless pawns. I have many friends who have communicated such distrust. That's why I never put myself in a position to be laid-off...it's 1099s for me. Real Estate, Travel Business - any industry where I perform as an independent contractor is a good fit for me.

Do let me know where I can get a DVD of this. As long as it's not far-left propaganda (or far-right for that matter), I'm interested.

Look forward to hearing back from you!
