We May Still Have A White Christmas in Prospect CT

No dreaming is necessary for a White Christmas here in Prospect CT based on the white stuff that is coating the ground a week before the big day.

We had almost 6 inches of a coating before it stopped but with temps below freezing it isn't going anyplace any time soon.

At the very least I know I don't need anything from the shed until the weather gets warmer.

It is supposed to get warmer tomorrow, Sunday with a chance of rain which will only make this snow a much bigger problem with the slush and then the heavy ice after.

Ed,

As I read posts from the East Coast, it seems everyone is expecting the same type of weather with the temps warming up tomorrow.  A

Hi Ed -- fresh snowfall is certainly nice to enjoy(especially from afar) but when combined with rain, becomes a little less fun.   Have a safe and warm weekend -- stay bundled up.

Hi Ed

Hard to know what to expect in the long term but enjoy it while you can. I hope there IS snow for the holiday, and not ugly slush!

Ed, It sure looks like you will have a white Christmas.  At best, we may get some rain in San Jose.  That works for me.

Hi Ed - there is a similar forcast for us.  I am assuming that much of ours will disappear in the next few days.

Good morning Ed Silva ,

Your temperatures with snow and now rain for-casted could be a mess! We were 78 degrees yesterday and by 9:30 pm we were at 39 ..this morning we are at 27! Dallas shoved their cold weather down on us! Ouch .. Lisa Von Domek take it back!!!

Good Morning, Ed Silva - I talked to my friend from Cape Cod yesterday. She was driving down to Connecticut to pick up her son from College and it was snowing pretty hard.

Have a safe and wonderful "White Christmas!"
