Samsung & Verizon Genius Marketing Tactic!

So I may or may not become a victim to the latest Samsung & Verizon Marketing Ploy!

This is my opinion on how it goes...

VERIZON TO SAMSUNG: "We need to boost sales:

SAMSUNG TO VERIZON: :"Let's push out an update that damages a phone so it is nearly unusaeble", We Will Call Is Marshmellow cause they are after all a sticky mess"

VERIZON TO SAMSUNG :" Brilliant!!  Then pretend to send out patches to fix the issues so it appears like we care"

SAMSUNG TO VERIZON :"Will do! and we have to keep pointing the finger at each other to totally abuse the consumer until they buy a new hand set"

So I am on my 4th handset in about 2 weeks, same issue with each handset.  The phone plays a game of roulette when it decides to fail,  could be at 68% battery life or may be 19% battery life.  It just keeps cycling through the boot up and the only way to stop it is pull the battery or plug it in.

Verizon says it is Samsung, Samsung says they can do nothing, even though it was their software that has made all of these phones worthless.

Samsung sent me to Best Buy to talk to their rep.

Rep said they could do nothing.  

I called Samsung back... They sent me to Best Buy to talk to Geek Squad said they would fix it and gave me a reference number.  

Geek Squad said that number means nothing to us, and I can't repair phones.

Verizon offered me 50% credit on what I owe on phone, which they thought was generous.  My response was your software ruined the phone why not offer 100% credit?

So I am looking for recommendations of a new provider.

Back in the 90's I was loyal to ATT until 2004 when my boss showed me how Great Verizon was in small outlying towns when AT&T was analog  roaming signal at best.

So I got on The Big Red Verizon Bus for 10 years and about $36,000 until 2014 when their arrogance of dropping my unlimited data plan if I upgrade my handset kicked in.  

So I checked out the gal in Pink... T-Mobile  I only stayed a year and I can't recall why I left...  They have a super deal going on right know with an $800 cash card, which would easily pay off the phones on all 4 of my lines with plenty to spare for assessories.

I really haven't heard anyone say anything good about Sprint...Ever... except the commercials.

So who do you like and why?

We have been with AT&T since it was Bell South Mobility (remember the bag phone? LOL), then Cingular and now AT&T.  Their customer service has always been outstanding (our experience only, I realize mileage varies) and we have not experienced coverage issues (again, that may not be true for everyone).

Ha Ha !  I had a bag phone!  I loved it. AT&T was great as long as i was in a major city.  I have friend that love At&T but they never travel by car.

Been with Sprint for many years. I can not tell you of any real issues. I am on a grandfathered plan which is unlimited everything. It is hard for me to leave.
