If you appreciate someone, don't keep it a secret

"Everyone wants to be appreciated. So if you appreciate someone, don't keep it a secret."
-- Mary Kay Ash, Entrepreneur

Happy Monday everyone!

I was happy to see this quote in an email from Brian Tracy last night and though it was far too important to not share with some of the people that I appreciate.

Use this bit of great advice and let someone in your life know how much you appreciate them, it will make their day, and probably make yours better too.

Nice to see another Monday, a day that I enjoy with so much promise for a busy productive week.

I am expecting to get a lot of important work done this week with many year end deadlines approaching as well as a bit of goal planning stuck in between.

Hopefully all of you are planning to make great use of this wonderful week too.

Have a great week and don't keep it a secret!

Bob

There is always time to appreciate another person in ones life today. I called an old friend last night.

Yes, appreciating others makes our life better, and that of the person we are appreciating.

Good morning Bob.  One of my clients lost out on a home last night because they snoozed.  I think they got the message.

Good morning Bob Crane ,

What a delightful message! We do forget to let others know how much we appreciate them..it only takes a little effort to extend our heartfelt appreciation to others ..it makes their day! I just thought of 4 people I need to reach out to today! Thank you!!

Love the quote. Reminds me of something my son said after a friend was killed in Iraq. Why do we wait till after someone is killed before trying to show how much they were loved and appreciated. Tell them today and every day.

Great quote.  My wife and I were having a conversation along that line this morning.  Say what you feel when you feel it as we don't know if there will be a chance later

I always use the word acknowledge. It is not about flattering someone's ego, it is acknowleding that they are not invisible or irrelevant.

We do need to remember to let those people we care about know how much they are appreciated.  It is easy if we just do it.

Thanks Bob.  This is great advice and one that I'm ashamed to admit to overlook a bit too often.

I love the thought conveyed in your title line, Bob!  There's nothing worse than to have folks show up at a funeral and talk about how great a guy was, when they should have done it while they were living.

Thanks for a great reminder.  We get so busy we "stuff" everyday that we may forget to tell others how much we appreciate them.  Nice pictures!
