Katy Prairie Conservancy Holds Waterfowl Wonderland
The Katy Prairie Conservancy is hosting at its Warren Lake facility where participants will get to see waterfowl from the Matt Cook Memorial Wildlife Viewing Platform. This event is being held on Wednesday December 28, 2016. There two different sessions to pick from being a 9 AM start or 10:30 AM start. The viewing will last about 1 hour.
At the Matt Cook Viewing platform folks will get the opportunity to look for signs of bird life on Warren Lake. It is likely that attendees will spot some the numerous waterfowl, wading as well as grassland birds that use the Katy prairie as their winter home. The cost is free and all ages are invited.
