There are many reasons to love where you work. As you well know, each brokerage company has it's own "feel", it's own way of doing things, it's own inner workings, it's own social structure and it's own broker.
Our particular company is one of the largest in the area. We have over 500 associates in and around the greater Tulsa area. With 12 offices, we have a great network of people and support.
Our office is located in Owasso - a sprawling suburb. We have a great group of people who respect one another and help each other when needed. Our broker works hard to keep a atmosphere of excellence, integrity and fun. He knows that this business can really drain you somedays. So, every now and then, he sets up special events for us.
Yesterday, it was Deal or No Deal.
To be eligible to play, your business card would be drawn at random. That made it fair for everyone. Also, we had an awesome breakfast prepared and brought in for us. SWEET!

The money that was won went towards advertising expenses or your monthly fees. Also, "door" prizes were given out to everyone throughout the morning. Afterwards, we went out on a short tour of some of our new listings. All in all, the morning was a blast!
I don't know if your company or broker does fun things like this, but it is a great moral booster from time to time. If you want, take this idea and pass it on or share your ideas from what your office has done.
