Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to everyone. Enjoy being with your family and friends and the wonderful people of Alameda. There are a few things to do this weekend and of course there is shopping.
The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 27 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables and flowers. The market is on Webster Street and Haight Avenue and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, December 24, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Old Navy.
Holiday Open House at Crab Cove Visitor’s Center on Saturday, December 24 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, featuring winter crafts, story time and fish feeding for kids of all ages. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue in Alameda.
Christmas Tree Lane will continue until New Years Eve from 5:30 to 10:00 pm. Christmas Tree Lane continues through New Year’s Eve on Thompson Avenue between Fernside Boulevard and High Street.
