Mele Kalikimaka and The Coffee Shack in Honaunau

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

It just isn't Christmas Eve in Kailua-Kona unless you can go snorkeling at Two-Step Beach and stop at The Coffee Shack along the way. At least that was the plan we had in the works for yesterday. We left Kona much later than we intended because my husband was hard at work solving the jigsaw puzzle we are putting together on our lanai. It's Catology Leonardo, a 1,000 piece puzzle. I had to drag him away.

Then, he really did not want me to take his photo at The Coffee Shack. You'll just put me in your blog," he complained. Ha! Well, you can read more about my advenures snorkeling and visiting The Coffee Shack, and see all of the other photographs in my personal blog today at this link: The Coffee Shack in Honaunau on the Way to Two-Step Beach.

When I look at Christmas scenes like those, I fully understand why I believe snow is so over-rated!  We are experiencing night time freeze here in Sacramento.  I just spent the last several minutes covering up all my plants with burlap to protect them.  If I were there, it wouldn't be a concern!

Celery being in clam chowder doesn't sounds as odd to me as celery on pizza.  Shouldn't be surprised wherever it shows up.  Smells sooo good when you are chopping it up.
