The Beverly Hills and surrounding area’s Ultra Luxury Market has started to pick up steam. Clearly an indication that we will be looking at a very strong 2017. After all, it is virtually the end of December. Customarily the challenge with the Ultra Luxury Market is, that there is hardly any inventory to choose from.
An affluent high net worth individual can basically buy a property almost anywhere on the Globe. If someone can spend from a low end of $50 million to the high end of $1 Billion dollars of disposable money for a property, then that person must have a compelling reason to buy in the United States. Hence in order to buy in Beverly Hills, Bel Air or vicinity there must be an attraction and compelling reasons as wel.
The biggest impetus which bring high net worth aka ultra-luxury real estate purchasers to the United States is Global Uncertainty. Supper affluent politicians and Captains of Industry always understood that their money was safe in the United States. Vis a vie Beverly Hills has always offered an opportunity to have their money parked in a safe investment. There is also discretion involved, it does not matter if the buyers are a wealthy Middle Eastern Businessmen, or Princes, or Italian Art Collectors, or a German Publisher or a Russian Oligarch to use a few examples. They can all be assured that their identity will be kept confidential. There is also a safety factor unparalleled compared to the rest of the Globe. The United States Government will not confiscate the Mega Mansion without any reason provided the owners pay their taxes. There is also a wonderful temperate climate to add into the mix.
