The Mexican Center for Philanthropy, defines it as "the conscious and consistent commitment to fully comply with the company's objective, considering the economic, social and environmental expectations of all its participants, demonstrating respect for people, ethical values, community and environment, thus contributing to the construction of the common good.
Social responsibility represents an important part of companies because they have the power to provide a solution to specific need of the society. We consider corporate social responsibility important, because companies can be a voice for the less privileged and impulse activities that help to improve the environment, work environment and sustainability. Therefore, more companies should invest in social causes. While you help the social-ecological environment at the same time have the opportunity to work on brand positioning. Of course we have to understand that a corporate social responsibility company is not only a label but an authentic commitment to society and the environment.
