New Year’s Eve 2017 at Legoland

Fun for All in Carlsbad!

Not everyone wants to stay up to midnight to celebrate New Year’s Eve, or can, and at the New Year’s Eve celebration at Carlsbad’s Legoland you won’t have to.

Fireworks in CarlsbadCome enjoy a re-creation of the Times Square ball drop with a Giant brick (made of guess what!?) falling 22 feet.

It’s really all about fun for kids and their families without missing bedtime, with party hats and special glasses to enjoy the New Year’s Eve fireworks.

Legoland Carlsbad is open New Year’s Eve from 10 am until 7 pm, with live music all days while waiting for ride, and with the countdown to the brick drop and fireworks starting at 6 pm.

You can buy tickets online.

It’s a great way for the whole family to enjoy and celebrate the New Year 2017 early in the evening. And time for parents to get the kids home for bed in time to watch the real Times Square Ball Drop at 9 PM PST!

Hi Jeff,

Not everyone wants to stay up (the two of us included).  I love how the Legoland brand has evolved, and I remember going into a store and ready to buy all kinds of pieces to play with.  Thank goodness Ron prevailed, and I backed off.  LOL A

Ha ha, pretty funny. Our grandkids have a ton of legos, of different sizes. And the brand is pretty impressive - with the theme parks, rides, hotel, special events throughout the year, and more. And pricey!!

Hi Jeff, I haven't visited the Legoland in Central FL but I know it attracts many residents and visitors, great addition to our area.

I spent New Year's Eve once at Disneyland. Very fun night, but glad I was young.

Hi Beth Atalay  - I haven't been to Legoland here, either, but it's very popular, but pretty pricey IMO.

I hope you do come visit sometime Will Hamm

Legoland holds lots of fun events during the year Hannah Williams

Jeff Dowler, it is pricey even with the resident discount. If I had young kids, I would definitely go though.

Ok Jeff Dowler I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the ball is made of Legos! The Phoenix Zoo has a very impressive exhibit of how Legos can be used to  create animals. My fav was a larger than life Polar Bear- incredibly detailed.

Hi Karen Fiddler, Broker/Owner  - I bet that was fun as a kid.

Good guess Nancy Laswick !! It's pretty amazing what they create these days with legos!

I agree with Ron and Alexandra Seigel on not staying up and loving Legos as a kid.

I was just wondering if they're going to have a special event at Legoland now and again, like a concert or something just to make things interesting or weird for the sake of being entertaining.

Noah Seidenberg I still enjoy logos - no, none of my own, but I enjoy creating things with my grandkids

Laura Cerrano  - there is always something going on at Legoland it seems. It's very popular despite the prices
