Mesquite Residential Home Sales For November 2016 Are Lower 5.5%

There was a slump of 5.5% in real estate sales recorded this month from November last year. There were 121 real estate sales recorded total this month. The number of houses sold in Mesquite year to date experienced an improvement of 11.4% from last year, with 1638 sold total this year. There were 136 projected home sales in November 2016, and this was an improvement of 6.2%. Year to date projected residential housing sales was 1653 total, a growth of 12.4%. This month there was a drop of 5% in new homes in Mesquite. There were 134 new homes total this month. In Mesquite there were 1882 newly listed homes in the market year to date, and this was a gain of 1.2%. This month there was a slump of 2.3% in the number of units listed under contract in Mesquite relative to last year. There were 126 units listed under contract total this month. Contract listings year to date in Mesquite was at 1678, a gain of 8.3% from the same month 2015. There was a drop of 50.9% in the number of approximate months supply of houses on the market in November 2016. There were 1.0 approximate months supply of houses on the market total this month. The number of properties for sale on the market this month saw a decrease of 43.7%, with 147 properties for sale on the market this month. Days on market until sale this month in Mesquite saw a fall of 28.3% from last year, with 25 days on market until sale this month. In Mesquite the total percent of list price received in November 2016 was at 98.6, a growth of 2.5%. Percent of original list price received year to date saw a gain of 1.1%, with 99.1 percent total this year.
