I Will Not Break My 2017 Resoultions

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Professionals, CT 203-206-0754 REB.0759001

As we embark on the New Year with a look back to our just completed year there is the thought as to how to make ourselves better people or more effective with our business.  Self reflection breeds enthusiasm and a desire to improve.

Some will join a gym, for a few weeks and recognize that that is a commitment that is difficult to maintain.
Diets will be started and stopped.
Business plans have been prepared with the intent to be extremely successful in the New Year with a plan of attack to succeed.

My resolutions for 2017 are very simple, and I can guarantee I will not break a one.

I'm so confident that I have them imprinted on the photo in the post.

I don't have any. Nice and easy.

It's not that I am perfect, far from that.  But we reach a stage of life where we know what needs to be done and in a manner that is productive. In my mind I have achieved that place and life is good as is the business I enjoy.

For all that do have their resolutions written up and in place, I do hope they are met at a minimum.  For those that will fall short, my way may work in the next yearly cycle.

Hi Ed... in a nutshell, you just perfectly said why I don't make resolutions... except for one... and that is to make no resolutions. So far I'm 100% on that.

I have actually never made any resolutions in my life;  I figure if I do what I need to do to improve my life or my business, then I will inevitably haveaccomplished something.  No sense in setting myself up for failure if I don't.

Hi Ed!  I LOVE your commitment!  Really, sticking with your business plan is all you need to do - you don't need to 'proclaim' resolutions - it's all there in the plan; just stick to it, right?!

Happy New Year to you and yours!  I hope 2017 is your best year ever and I'm sure you'll knock out that plan - in FULL!

Last year, Ed, I didn't have a fully focused straight line set of goals. It turned out to be my best year ever in over 10 years of real estate. Go figure. So, it's refreshing to read your take on things. I do write "goals" down, and came up with 24 for 2017. My hubby and I used to faithfully do that New Year's Day or that weekend. We don't so much, but he DID check mine out. He was particularly happy about one that was financially-oriented--of COURSE!

I created a visionboard last year, inspired by Beth Atalay and have started a new one this year. Since I am a visual person, this feels good. So, maybe that's the ticket for me! I wrote Success! on it, the only word. And it came to pass.

Wishing you a straight shot of that towards your "resolutions", haha!
