If you really want a fun, different way to unwind with your friends, try Painting with a Twist. I have been twice and happy to see one has opened up in my neighborhood - Kendall. This growing franchise has been around since 2007 and, at the time of this post, has 324 locations across the US. It sure beats regular old Happy Hour and everyone always walks away happy, relaxed and inspired...even if you have no artistic ability, the instructors are amazing and that's part of the fun; learning.
So, bring a bottle of wine (check your location for rules), some appetizers, some friends and enjoy a truly fun time. Most locations also offer space for private events as well. Maybe a great place to take your new homeowner AND they get their own piece of art to hang in their new digs? Just a thought!
