Spread the word, the housing crisis is over!

The Housing Crisis is Over? by Cyril Moulle-Bertaux with Traxis Partners LP is a GREAT story in today's WSJ. I see a number of signs in my own area as well that we are at,  or close to, the bottom. Obviously we will not know for sure until late this winter or early spring 2009, however I predict we will look back at this June/July as the bottom.

The more Realtors that spread THIS kind of news, the faster the market will recover!

Finally,  Some great news.  I hope they are correct on this.  I did see a stroy on CNBC that interviewed a sr exec from Fanie Mae and he too claimed that he expects the housing market to pick up in the second half.

I agree with you Adam, the market is strong here in Austin, Tx and it definately is the time to buy.  Our homes here, on average, have appreciated approximately 8%.  I don't see that in the press. It is time for us all to stand tall and say to the media and buyers - It is probably one of the best times ever to buy a home!  I am done with "we are in a recession."

Adam, thanks for the positive news. I wish the media would do the same.
