The Pasadena Foothill Assn. of Realtors had an article on earning a designation of EcoBroker, a new certification for realtors to learn about green homes, energy efficent homes, environment education and more.
According to the website, there are currently about 3000 members with the designation. More consumers are becoming consciencious about saving energy and how they can do that with their homes.
July 16 and July 17, there will be an EcoBroker conference anc expo in Denver, Co. call Green Real Estate 2008.
Are we ready to become an EcoBroker to services this new area for our clients? We should, as costs are increasing on everything you can think of, and learning about "go green" in our field woud be plus to agents and consumers. Learn more on the website.
