Whatta Day! Donald Trump & I Are On Inman News Blog!

By
Real Estate Agent with Accessibility & The Power to Advise

This is what they teach you on The Apprentice?

Trump If real estate professionals are already questioning your ethics for teaching people to use their credit cards to make down payments on investment properties (see discussion on REliberation.com), do you really want to further antagonize them by "typosquatting" ActiveRain Real Estate Network? Apparently not a concern for Donald Trump (or maybe one of the people he hired through "The Apprentice"?), whose Trump University has taken up residence at actverain.com (ActiveRain.com without the i in Active). ActiveRain blogger Rhonda Ruthman ended up there the same way they hope you will -- by accident.

UPDATE: How many ways can you misspell ActiveRain? These will all take you to Trump University:

ACTIERAIN.COM
ACTIVEAIN.COM
ACTIVERAI.COM
ACTIVERAN.COM
ACTIVERIN.COM
ACTIVRAIN.COM
ACTVERAIN.COM

Where I found these variations.

Very interesting. Fortunately the true AR has much better SEO placement. I found AR doing a blind search for RE Blogs.

Rhonda, WOW I didn't thing that Donald was that desperate for business, but then again he probably used similar tactics to climb the ladder to where he is at now.

Stephen:  I thought that was interesting news.  Good grief, maybe only agents that can't type go to Trump U.  ----Oh well, sign me up!

George:  Whatever's clever....  I was pretty surprised, too!

Thank you for commenting.  Best wishes and continued success!

Too funny - It's like when Dan Quail came to Idaho during his campain and misspelled "Potato" in a class room full of kids!  After his mistake he asked if Potato had an E at the end.  I fifth grader correctly told him it did not :-) This won't be the first booboo that Mr. Trump has made...LOL

Now isn't that interesting. The Trumpster is a  pretty smart guy. I think he should join AR.

Well I guess being famous and rich doesn't keep you from mispelled words either.  Interesting post.
