Boy oh Boy Do I Wish That Crystal Ball Existed
This year I am going to have a particularly strong interest in promoting the real estate market in Fairfield, AL. The locals know that Fairfield has suffered tremendously at the hands of the past administration, but with the election of our new Mayor Edward May, and the following Councilpersons, I'm predicting a tremendous increasing in homeownership in Fairfield. I'm looking forward to the City's fruitful efforts to making the City of Fairfield an attractive option for home owners.
District 1………….Councilman Barakas Taylor
District 2………….Councilwoman Susan Parks
District 3………….Councilwoman Cynthia McDowell
District 4………….Councilman John Hackett
District 5………….Councilman Herman Carnes
District 6………….Councilman Willie Hardley
Council President Eddie Penny
Our newly elected officials are an indicator of revived hope. Already the air is filled with communications about negotiations to bring businesses to the city. Because a great many Fairfield residents have lived in Fairfield all of their lives, there is a great deal of pride in the City. If given a choice, all of their hard earned dollars would be spent in the City of Fairfield for goods and services.
As our elected officials in conjunction with Neighborhood Presidents and residents boasting about all of the good things happening in Fairfield and the good things to come, I predict a significant spike in market values and quite possibly routine bidding wars in the Fairfield market. As a Fairfield resident Realtor®, I'm going to do my part to promote the city by way of encouraging home ownership as well as helping sellers to find qualified buyers to purchase their existing home in preparation for the next chapter of their lives.
Some might say this is not a prediction based on anything except a hunch but that's not true. My prediction is based on my personal contribution to promoting the Older City Moving in a New Direction.
