I love Lou's relevant way of showing how growth evolves. After living on the family farm and watching my father-in-law prune trees, I know a healthy tree gets pruned. Enjoy Lou's words of wisdom and please drop by to tell him how much you enjoyed it.

Abilities Need Continuous Development

“Natural abilities are like natural plants

they need pruning by study.”

Francis Bacon 1561 - 1621, English Statesman,

Philosopher, Scientist, Orator, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Abilities need continuous development

Your abilities are like a garden.

A garden left to its own will become over ran with weeds . . . . Without attention . . . . pruning and nurturing will grow wild . . . . and out of control. The production coming from that garden will become minimal at best as a result of its lack of care.

A garden that’s cultivated pruned . . . . and nurtured will grow its full maturity . . . . and will reach its full potential for production.

Your abilities are a lot like a garden. When you want to maximize your abilities you have to continually cultivate . . . . prune  . . . . develop and nurture your abilities to a fine edge. It’s your reasonability to develop  your abilities . . . . to their full maturity.

The level of your abilities will determine the pace of your success journey . . . . and the height of success that you achieve.

Nurturing your abilities is not an event . . . . or a one-time occurrence. It’s making the commitment to continued incremental improvement . . . . and the commitment to your personal growth.

Your abilities need continuous development  . . . . and as you continue to sharpen your abilities you create a strategic business advantage.

Good morning Mike. The title caught my attention and I agree with Lou's conclusion too.
