Hi, John G. Johnston.  I see you lost a little more of your snow.  You know I like that.  The only time I like snow is on Christmas Eve or early Christmas Morning. It is so pretty when it is gently falling, white and it sparkles.  John, I lived years in Green Bay,  Wisconsin and also, a Chicago NW suburb; dirty and black packed snow is very unaesthetic...not pretty at all... In addition, no green leaves on trees, no red, yellow, and purple tulips, no blue-violet lilacs,........

Yup, you get the picture - just dirty, black roads and streets and yucky looking slush...Sometimes I would open the upstairs bedroom window and train my eyes to only look straight ahead or up. Then I would pretend the grass below was a pretty green and the road and streets were perfectly clean, and the flowers looked so lovely.  Just some reasons I love living in Orlando.
