Art Washing

 

'Art Washing' as a noun may be a new concept for some. This description is used when real estate developers install art galleries in urban areas to gentrify them and to justify higher rents. Consumers relate art to luxury and a better quality of life.

You may want to give some thought as to how you could use art washing in your marketing. For example, you could have an exhibit featuring local artists in your office. Turn your office into an art gallery.

If you want to attract a crowd and get publicity of one of the homes you have for sale, you may wish to sponsor an art exhibit in the home rather than staging it. Become the auctioneer and sell the art for your local artists.

Share your thoughts about how you can use art in your marketing.

That's a good idea.  Some of the restaurant here will showcase art from local artists, and if somebody wants to buy the art they can.
