Are email drip campaigns dead?
Well, if you ask the companies trying to sell you the new shiny object, then the answer is yes.
But, if you ask the top producing agents and teams around the country then they will tell you that they are doing more deals from their databases than ever.
No one can deny that technology is the leader of change in our industry. But, instead of new technology being the death of Database Marketing, it is allowing the savvy real estate agent to integrate multi-channel marketing strategies where we can now blend different marketing strategies to DOMINATE a market or local community.
Here are a few predictions that I am making for 2017. Here is where we believe the market is going. It is up to you to be there before your competition.
1) Multi-Channel Marketing: In 2017, you will find more agents taking a multi-channel approach to the marketing efforts. They will layer an email campaign over a Facebook
2) Community Domination: You will see more agents taking a more localized approach to marketing. Our Infusionsoft real estate campaigns allow the agent to become the Trusted Expert for a neighborhood.
3) Marketing Automation: Agents will no longer be able to manually keep up with those agents that use automation. Agents will automate their emails, direct mail, social interactions and more. There are too many things to keep up with and automation is the answer.
4) Auto Responders Lose Popularity: The consumer is starting to detect when a robot is responding versus a live human being. Yes, the consumer wants fast response BUT they are also wanting to deal with REAL people.
I could go on and on about the changes that I feel will take place in our industry. The important thing to understand is that you have to start taking Marketing Automation serious. Our Real Estate campaigns through Infusionsoft has been working so well.
We are still getting hundreds of listings per year from our Infusionsoft real estate email system. Of course, we have a large database but it is the automation inside of Infusionsoft that is making the difference.
I know a lot of agents are resisting getting involved but those that are embracing change are also the agents that are thriving.
