Follow up to my "5 LinkedIn Real Estate Agent Profile Tips" post.

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Inbound Real Estate Marketing L.L.C.

In March of 2016 I published a blog post about increasing profile views and getting leads from LinkedIn.

It has since become one of my most shared blog posts. I have had nine months of using the tips I gave my audience. This post is to follow up on just ONE of those tips. Getting free leads from the Beta LinkedIN service called LinkedIN profinder.

LinkedIn Profinder - My results

As an online marketer, my request for leads is going to be very different than my audiences which for the most part is Real Estate professionals. I did not receive my first inquiry until June of 2016. My leads are for the following marketing services:

  • Social Media Marketing
  • SEO Consulting
  • Digital Marketing
  • Brand Marketing
  • Content Marketing

Linked IN Profinder Leads

I have received 70 leads in 6 months. 26 of those in the last 30 days.

I have only responded to 7-8 of these leads. I'll explain why.

  • You only have 1-2 hours before all 5 of the requested proposals are submitted.
  • You cannot respond via smartphone.
  • My profile is very specialized and very few requests are coming in from real estate professionals.

Of the 7-8 proposals Most where non-real estate and almost all of them declined citing my lack of specialization for their needs.

I now look for the following before deciding to respond.

  • Need to be at my desk
  • Real Estate Professional
  • CEO, CTO, CMO of a company that employees more than 50 people. I will then send a highly customized email explaining I have five years of experience working for non-real estate related clients.

My six-month recommendation RE: LinkedIn-Pro

Did I mention the leads are FREE? LinkedIn Pro is in beta. I have opened up dialogs with people looking for the services I provide and I have not spent a penny. My total investment of time has been a couple of hours. I am bound to run across a lead that will hire me and when I do it's unlikely I will have invested more than 5-10 hours. The math is unbeatable and I would strongly recommend anyone reading this sign up.
