so what's a Weltanschuung anyway?
Active Rain is not just a Blogging Platform. We have seen what has been posted on social media and many of them seem to have no boundaries. When Active Rain was created, it's goal was to be unlike any other platform out there, having professionalism, guidance, relationships and a learning tool aimed at the Real Estate World and its affiliates.
In order for this platform to be successful, it needed to have a plan. A plan that would cover all the keys, that would unlock the doors for us to share and learn about our industry, as well as developing a positive relationship with each other. That plan is called "Weltanschuung".
Active Rain was founded on the principals, to guide those who choose to be part of its Real Estate World. There are 10 of them for its members to follow while being part of the body. Here is a link to the original information: Link to Weltanschuung

Active Rain, as a whole, shares its views, ideas and information for the betterment of the Real Estate Community and the world. Here is my interpretation of those 10 guiding principals:
- All Real Estate Professionals have their own talents and knowledge, they can share with the rest of the AR Community.
- By blogging about their own local Real Estate Market, they will be more successful in their own local area, because of their knowledge.
- Home ownership is the ultimate family dream we, as Real Estate Professionals, can help the people of our communities achieve that dream.
- Talent & knowledge, from all areas of the Real Estate are invited to participate in Active Rain, as each has knowledge and ideas, they can share with the rest of the members, making the world of Active Rain a better place.
- Discussions & Comments "must" be made with integrity and professionalism.
- Active Rain is an exchange of information, that will benefit Buyers, Sellers and Real Estate Professionals.
- Different points of view are welcomed, for the growth of new ideas, to further our industry.
- Personal attacks and predatory behavior is not the way of Active Rain. It will not be tolerated. Getting along and being united to one goal is in the best interest of Active Rain.
- Active Rain welcomes opinions and ideas that will make Active Rain the best it can be.
- Active Rain is for the members to learn and educate each other, with their knowledge and strong points, that will make a better Real Estate Industry.
Now that you know what Weltanschauung is, even though you may not be able to pronounce it, you can join the rest of us, in the World of Perception". There is much to learn in this world. If you need some direction, or help finding your way around, you can contact any of the Ambassadors. They are there to help you in any way, to make your AR experience enjoyable.
It's hard to pick just one of the above reasons for me to continue to participate in AR, but for the most part, everyone is friendly, willing to help and the overall feel is one that is unlike any other, meaning degrading other members comments and blogs. I learn a lot from the other members, including the related fields, such as Staging, Mortgage and Social media members, as well as others. AR is eager to help us learn, with webinars and AR University. When I have a question or a problem everyone is very helpful in helping me solve my problem. What's not to like about Active Rain?
