Distress Property Stats December 2016

In January of 2017, ATTOM Data Solutions parent of Realtytrac.com reported there were 846,248 distress properties in December of 2016 declined 1.0% from November of 2016, and fell 17.0% from December of 2015. One in every 1,537 U.S. properties with a foreclosure filing, and State of New Jersy was the highest with one in every 487 housing units in foreclosure filing in December of 2016. While, pre-foreclosures were 30.0%, auctions were 35.9%, and REOs were 34.1% in December of 2016.

Pre-foreclosures fell 12.2% in December of 2016 from November of 2016, and down 10.6% from December of 2015. Auctions declined 3.0% in December of 2016 from November of 2016, and lower 11.6% from December of 2015. REOs decreased 7.9% in December of 2016 from November of 2016, and dropped 26.1% from December of 2015.

are market is also short on distress properties lately.. it makes it really hard for the investors to find a good deal
