It's tough for some people to work on a holiday. There are those who feel the need to share online with whomever will read all of their personal beliefs and preferences like: My family comes first . . . but not before my Lord and personal Savior . . . and my favorite color is blue, but not blue like the sky, but more blue like an robin's egg; and I really, really love Duck Dynsasty . . . and that new show Housewives of Hell. Certainly you believe in and like all of these things as I do?
These people have no clue how this sort of personal confession and chatter can appear to others. Especially when all you said was hey, nice to see ya.
This is also why I don't hang out on Facebook.
Not me, I just go to work. I blend my lifestyle, work ethic and beliefs into one big pudding. If a prospective client calls, I will answer the phone. But we're all different. Live and let live. It's what makes the world go round. And I'm heading out today to tackle more listings in Sacramento. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: No Holiday for Sacramento Listing Agents on Martin Luther King Day.
