God Bless America ~ The Home of the free, Land of the brave and where all mankind are to be treated as equal. Over the years, decades and centuries unfortunately, honoring that all people are to be treated equally has not rung true. Just to point out a few groups we can ponder the Native Americans, African Americans, Asians and Hispanic. I am certain there are others as well. Each group has it's own perspective to be sure. I do know that we can not go back and undo what has been done by past generations, no matter how much we would like to. The goal is to bring about a future for the United States of America and our citizens that fosters equality and fair treatment to all. Does this mean bad things won't happen, no. Does this mean that someone somewhere won't break this goal, no. For me, this mean that when someone moves outside the fair and equal treatment of another that our laws should be applied equally. I encourage everyone to move forward, treat all others as equals, fairly and without prejudice. I know this is hard to do. I for one will keep this goal in mind in all m y endeavors. Let Freedom Ring!
