By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Executive | Charlotte, NC

Charlotte, NC Queen's Feast Restaurant Week 2017Charlotte's much-loved and highly anticipated, semi-annual Restaurant Week returns this week on Friday, January 20th and runs through Sunday, January 29th. Once again it's time to enjoy a true Queen's Feast! You'll have 10 days to dine like royalty at  130+ upscale Charlotte metro area restaurants at a reasonable fixed price of $30 or $35 for three courses. A record number of restaurants all around the Charlotte metro area are participating.

This semi-annual event in Charlotte is now in its 15th "season" and very much anticipated by the "locals." The 2017 theme for Charlotte's Queen's Feast is "Gather | Eat | Repeat." (Sounds like a plan I could live with!)

The first Charlotte Restaurant Week took place in July 2008 and had 42 restaurants participating. It's now grown to over 130 participating restaurants and attracts both local Charlotteans, as well as people from outside the area. The most recent Winter Queens Feast served some 170,000 diners and generated almost $8 million in revenue for the 125+ participating restaurants in eight counties surrounding Charlotte. Not only is it a great way to enjoy great food at a reasonable cost, it's a great way to explore new restaurants and cuisines throughout the Charlotte area.

WHEN: January 20th through January 29th, 2017

WHERE: click here for a list of restaurants participating in Restaurant Week

WHO: Anyone and everyone who loves to eat and enjoys great gastronomic experiences!

COST: 3 courses for $30-35 per person (not including tax and tips)

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: reservations are highly suggested and many of the participating restaurants can be booked at Open Table

Nina Hollander,

Sounds fun!  We have a similar event in June called the Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week...featuring a fixed price 3 course dinner.  Always something good to eat!

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® ~ hi Sheri, one of the reasons so many restaurants in Charlotte participate year after year is that they find they get a lot of residual business long after the restaurant weeks finish from people who discovered them during restaurant week.

Charlotte restaurants are smart to do something like this.  Gets folks out to try something they may not have ever thought of before.  Find a new favorite place for a night out.

Hi Nina

I hope you got to enjoy your Restaurant Week. As you know from your reading of my post on the same topic, we had one virtually the same time. I didn't get to partake this year. And like yours, our is growing and is twice a year. Love the name "Queen's Feast Restaurant Week." I didn't know about Queen Charlotte and the naming of your city!

Jeff
