The Midwest Museum of American Art,
located in downtown Elkhart, IN.
The Midwest Museum of American Art, is open to the public, with well known American artists works on display. The museum features 19th and 20th Century American Art, which includes Grandmas Moses and Norman Rockwell. The Rockwell exhibit includes a huge collection of hand signed lithographs and brings over 6,000 pieces in the permanent collection. You can see approximately 900 on Display at any time during the year.
The museum is home to the Elkhart Juried Regional. The 37th Juried Regional was held from October to December 6, 2016, with 250 artists submitting 424 works for consideration. There were 207 pieces selected from 153 artists.
