My comment to Karen Helliers Blog " In Life and Business,Taking Action Creates Opportunities" elicited a response from Lottie Kendall who said and I shall paraphrase:
"Your comment sounds like the beginning of another blog post. After you write it will you give me permission to re-post it and if you are not going to write it then I hope you would give me permission to write my own blog post and give you credit for the ideas?"
I thought about this for awhile and said to myself would it not be different if I collaborated on a blog post with another Rainer so I called Lottie and proposed this ideas. Following is the post Lottie did for Sellers:
and now it is my responsibility to provide my own post titled:
Take Action- Advise for Buyers
There are many types of Real Estate buyers but for this post I have narrowed it to the First Time Home Buyer. If I were to give Advise to First Time Buyers it would be the following:
I particularly like rule #3 because it requires ACTION. Ask your First Time Buyer where the think they will be in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years? Would they be in the same place? Have your buyer imagine what would be their ideal living situation. Talk to them about career, family, savings, and lifestyle.
By asking probing questions you get to understand your buyer and see if they are prepared and ready to make the move to home ownership. I tell buyers that buying a home is a HUGE Responsibility and requires thought and planning but most of all it requires ACTION.
When you are a serious buyer you must begin by exploring and exploring requires ACTION. I understand transitions in life are difficult but for those buyers who are successful all I have to say is:
I personally want to thank Karen Helliers for writing her original blog post and Lottie Kendall for responding to my comment and wrting her own blog post for Sellers and inspiring me to write a blog post for Buyers. I hope other Rainers will conitinue to read and follow them in AR as I plan to do.
