Poinciana residents in Osceola County, have had enough with their Home Owners Association. Many are hopeful for two new potential bills that have just been filed by FL rep John Cortes will make it to the FL House floor. These bills will not just affect Poinciana, but it will affect the state of FL as a whole.

Here’s a breakdown of the bills filled;

HB 135 will add more guidelines on the HOA elections in hopes of making it fairer.

HB 137 will allow mandatory nonbinding arbitration in HOA-related disputes to negotiate a settlement instead of involving the courts as a first measure, which can be costly.

If you’re not in FL, does your state have similar bills?

What do think of these bills?
