The number of foreclosure/bank owned property listings still remains very low in the Delta, CO area. At this time the sale of bank owned homes makes up less than 10% of residential sales.
This report will cover Delta and the rural areas surrounding the town. It will include those listings marked as bank owned properties in the local MLS (muliple listing service).
There are eight active listings and three that are under contract pending a sale. Prices start at $99,500 (a real fixer upper) and go up to $209,900. The average list price is $150,513 and the median list price is $141,950.- Four listings are new since last month's real estate report on foreclosured homes for sale in Delta.
- 31 bank owned homes have sold over the last year.
I expect to always see a few foreclosures on the market in this area. I think we will also see the overall number of listings and sales come down a bit as the market continues to improve.
