Recently on my podcast - The Local Small Business Coach - I discussed how so many of us small business owners (and yes, as a Realtor, you are a small business owner) really don't own a business, we just own our job.
For many agents and other types of small business owners, they struggle week to week, month to month trying to have enough business to pay the bills. As long as you are in this cycle, you are actually living the life of an employee. A viable business, a successful business, will be one that not only pays the bills, but allows you put money back into your business plus save for your future.
How many of you treat your real estate ventures as a true business? That you set aside time to not just rush from client to client but have goals and processes in place to grow? That each year you set not only personal finacial goals, but goals for your business?
So, I'm curious (as I'm sure others are too) what do you do to make sure you own a business and not just a job? Share below to inspire others!
