One of the biggest annual events in San Antonio (and surprisingly even more income generating than our fabulous Fiesta for the city of San Antonio) is the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. And frequently listed as one of the biggest and best indoor stock show/rodeo's in the county. The Stock Show has been a major staple in our city since its inception in 1950 providing over 171 million to youth in our state through grants, endownments, and auctions. I can not even begin to list all the many livestock and horse events and shows included this year. Entertainers this year include - Cody Johnson, Little Big Town, Sam Hunt, Maddie and Tae, John Fogerty, For King and Country, Chris Young, Willie Nelson and family, the Band Perry, Chris Janson, Chase Rice, Dan and Shay, Edwin Luna Y LA Trakalosa De Monterrey, Fifth Harmony, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Huey Lewis and the News, Rascal Flatts, Aaron Watts, and Josh Turner.
If you are in the Alamo City it is an event not to be missed.
