They changed the rules again.
This week, our Door County Multiple Listing service went live with a new format, and I truly love some of its bells and whistles, and it will certainly keep the "part-time" agents on their toes, because it's more complex and gives more of the information that you, the consumer, will want to have.
Long story short, it will allow me to be a better Door County real estate broker.
In order to have competitive listings, one needs to be fully cognizant of the ever-changing Door County real estate market, no different from the stock market. You can search the entire Door County MLS here. The changes will allow me to see different aspects of the market, and also to perform some tasks faster for my listing clients and also as a Door County Buyer Agent.
However, the new Door County MLS is only one aspect of my ever-chaning business in 2017. As the current president of the Door County Board of Realtors, it interests me to see the agents that only "pay to play" for a listing or two each year. We call that "kitchen table real estate" here. The Kellstrom-Ray Agency has nine full-time agents, a large number of us have broker's licenses as well as designations that will allow us to stand above the pack as true Door County year-round residents and Realtors. We all work full time to service our listings and our Buyers. I've made a commitment to myself that 2017 will be my best year in real estate, and I hope to keep that pledge I've made for myself--to be the best. I believe the new format for Door County Multiple Listing Service will help define Door County Local Real Estate Experts. With changes in the Door County MLS and changes coming in Google Chrome, I need to be 100% on top of my game.
