Our friend, Praful Thakkar has challenged each of us within the forum of Active Rain to conjure up our mystical intuition and look into the future of 2017...
Behold what is lurking in the fog of the unknown - to be unveiled this year...??
Do I see bright dawning hopes realized...??
Or do I see the dismal discouragement of fear abounding...??
Each new year, we are each faced with the thought provoking endeavor of choosing our intended path, plan, and purpose for the upcoming twelve months. Since after all, determining the 'next best step' is do-able for each of us and I think the magnitude of thinking in terms beyond twelve months can be daunting or downright terrifying.
So, as I peer into the blackness of the unknown before me, what do I, Madame Maria, see...??
I see eyes of expectancy....
I see gigantic dreams that refuse to permit the tentacles of fear to permeate their being.
I see courage arising from the shadows.
I see the dawn of purpose.
I see intention seasoned with diligence.
I see determination.
We are each granted the gift of choosing our own path, plan, and purpose as we step into the blackness of this new year.
Yet, the question looms, how does one navigate an unknown path...??
How does one step into the abyss and come forth triumphant...??
Whether we are deciding if it's time to buy a home in a familiar community or venture far away...
Whether we are deciding if it's time to sell our current home and up-size or down-size...
Whether we are contemplating a career in real estate...
Whether we are confused, conflicted, or caught outright in the vapor of indecision...
I predict a year of exuberant new beginnings and some tearful endings as bravery continues to arise and break forth through the blackness and bring forth the light of direction.

Praful Thakkar - A message without hope is simply hopeless and who would want a 2017 that's hopeless... ?? :) Thank you for offering this challenge -
Hi Madame Maria Sapio - Love your take on the challenge! Moving into the unknown requires us to have strength of mind, strength of character and courage. It is never easy to leave the comfort zone but it is the only way to move forward. Congrats on a great post!

Thanks Maria!
The future is an elusive thing filled with so many variables, all we can do is be prepared to work within the framework that we have, and make the best future possible for ourselves and those around us.
I am ready!
