How To Create A Landing Page That Converts

By

If you are interested in generating leads on your website, understanding what a landing page is and how to use it can be the difference between converting a visitor into a lead, and losing them to a competitor's website. No matter what you are industry you are in or what you are selling, you need to know WHERE to send your visitors to maximize your conversion ratio and generate leads.

What Is A Landing Page

A landing page is a page on your website dedicated to single offering or 'call-to-action'. You can learn more about creating call-to-actions here. When a visitor on your website sees your offering to download a free report for foreclosure homes and clicks on the call-to-action button, they should be taken to a landing page that describes the offering in more detail and includes a form to fill out in exchange for your offering or what I like to call, your value-add.

How To Create A Landing Page

After you create a call-to-action, you need to set up a webpage that it will link to. This webpage will act as a landing page. Yes, it's that simple. Real estate agents often tell me that they hate to make people register for anything. These are the same agents that come to me asking me to teach them how to close more properties. There's no easy way to say this so here goes... duh! Sorry, I know that was kind of rough. All joking aside, if you are giving away a free eBook you created or a list that is otherwise hard for the general public to come by, then they should not have a problem with you asking to get something out of it. Will the visitor potentially give you bad contact information? Sometimes, but you will still get good leads as well, and as I've preached before, you can still get good information from bad internet leads!

The landing pages I create with a short teaser video get up to a 30% to 40% higher conversion. For example, if you are providing information for investors, ask one of your lenders to record a short video on how investors can purchase more than 4 investment properties. The information you collect on this landing page can and should also be used for your ongoing drip campaigns. Click here to learn more about creating drip campaigns.

Finally, once the visitor submits their information on the landing page, they should be redirected to a 'thank you' page where they can access the offer.

Good morning Josh.  As I do not have a clue on how to do this, I'll leave it to corporate.  Enjoy your coming back to dance in the Rain.  Keep em coming
