Do you just know your customers well enough to know they can't be pushed or sold until they are ready? I met some customers at an open house in April of 2016 and I continued to nurture them. It wasn't until around October 2016 that some houses started to come on the market that interested them. We've probably seen now about six here and there and seeing another one this Sunday. This is what she had to say to me tonight,
"I really appreciate you sending us info, showing us homes, and being patient with our search. You've helped us get educated to this market, and made our search relaxing too as you never push. My son just got his real estate license in CO, and I told him how you always respond so quickly, but never seem frustrated by lack of action on our part - and I told him that is what he should try to do for his future customers! At some point, the right house will appear and we'll be ready for it." ~ Page W.
This is the type of REALTOR® I strive to be on a daily basis. I believe in people first whether it's my customer, the agent on the other side, the title company employees and all the others I come into contact with daily. They are people, not numbers or a listing or a quick sale. I believe it was the great Zig Ziglar who said, "You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.
