Ventura Harbor Village
The Ventura Harbor houses a carousel and arcade that the kids will love. The carousel has over 30 animal varieties and is the only one like this in the entire county. With an outing full of riding the carousel, playing all of the arcade games, and walking along the village, a perfect addition is stopping to get ice cream or a yummy pineapple dole whip!
You can also spend the afternoon out on kayaks, or pedal boats by renting them for fun on the water. Head to the beach for fun in the sand and sun, it’s a cherished Ventura experience. Take a walk along the promenade and find yourself right next to the ocean. Other activities available include the Channel Islands Visitors Center, where you can see interesting exhibits and featured films, and the Island Packers where you can take a trip to the channel. Here you can see dolphins, and whales. You can also hike the islands. It is truly a must have experience in Ventura.
An additional special touch the kids will love here in Ventura County is Marina Park. Complete with a huge pirate ship and built-in zip-line, the area also has a playground, and areas for a grill-out or picnic.
