The Harlem Globetrotters are on their 2017 world tour, and are stopping here in Tulsa this weekend. Do you have plans yet for the weekend? Who are the Harlem Globetrotters?

They are a professional performance basketball team who bring comedy, entertainment, and talent to each show they perform at. Speaking of shows, they travel worldwide and play over 450 live shows a year. They have traveled to over 122 countries. The players exhibit true athleticism, and have been entertaining live since the 1920’s. They are actually known to be some of the most exhilarating athletes of our time. Their mascot is Globie, a globe with a personality who adds fun to the shows.

At any show you can expect to see the players reach out to the audience and engage them in the show, the trotters to dance during the event, a mix of male and female athletes, whistling, and watching fans of all ages enjoy the show. Even if you are not familiar with basketball, or even a basketball fan, you will become a fan of the globetrotters!
