NEW Changes regarding your

Florida Real Estate License Renewal

On February 2, 2017, FREC (Florida Real Estate Commission) is now requiring 3 hours Ethics and Business Practices course to be included with our real estate license renewal starting October 1, 2017.

Starting October 1, 2017 the renewal must include:

3 hours Core Law course
3 hours Ethics and Business Practices course
8 hours of Specialty courses (which may include a 2nd Core Law course)

This change will impact the first cycle next year (March 31, 2018).

The National Board of Realtors has an ethics requirement, but here in NC we can use that class as part of our 8-hour annual CE requirement. Which reminds me ..

Dianne Goode I think the NAR Code of Ethics requirement we do every two years will satisfy this requirement, "if" it is taken during the licensee's renewal cycle. I was a good girl and did my CE requirement early this time!

Many states are adding Core hour requirements to the CE requirements for renewal. I thnk it is great and good for you sharing the message.
